The Enterprise Browser has evolved into the primary access point for employees on managed devices, tablets and phones, as well as contractors and remote developers using unmanaged devices to reach a range of corporate resources. The position of the browser in this new architecture provides better context when deciding on conditional access based on user identity, device trust, or geo-location.

The security team can now set policies around data access including data masking, URL filtering and browser actions like uploads and downloads, whenever users try to access internal applications, public cloud resources, SaaS applications and websites.
